THE FAMOUS TORORO ROCK

Geography & Location

Tororo District is located in Eastern Uganda.  It borders with the Republic of Kenya to the East, Bugiri District to the West, Butaleja to the North and Busia to the South and Mbale to the North East. The District has (6)counties, one Municipality with two divisions, (30) rural sub-counties, (10) Town councils, (180) parishes and (1,337) villages.

Total Population : 517,080

Male: 250,830 Female: 266,250

Projection as at 2022

Total Population :636,629

Male: 308,821 Female: 327,807

World Wildlife Day Celebrations In Uganda

On Friday 3rd March, 2023; Tororo district hosted the World Wildlife day Celebrations.

Activities: Exhibitions, Conservation Awards and Main Celebrations.

Bukedi Region will Participate among the districts include; Busia, Tororo(Host District), Butaleja, Budaka, Kibuku, Pallisa, and other neigbouring districts are welcome to attend.
